Been a LOT of Keychron on Woot of late as well. Wrong switches for me personally, but great deal for what this is.

I have this keyboard. The only complaint I have, the board flexes in the middle when you type. This means the SDFGHJK keys cause the whole area to wobble. I fixed this by putting a piece of cardboard behind the board and have been using the keyboard fine for 2 years. Swapped out to Gateron Cream switches.

South facing LEDs. Tried upgrading from my old K8 since I want the numpad now, but my key caps are incompatible. Think the v and q series are south facing and the k are north facing.

The flex in this keyboard is actually a design feature due to how the internals are mounted. This got popularized in the past few years in the custom mechanical keyboard space.
That said, decent price for a no-nonsense, entry level mechanical keyboard with good features.

I just received mine, and I don't notice any flex whatsoever. then again, I'm not a keyboard snob, so truly not the best person to asses the details of a keyboard. However, compared to my Azoth, the gateron red are pure joy! I'm not sure if it's the switches I'm in love with or the keyboard. I've had Asus nx snow, kalih, brown, and a light click - will swap the Azoth with gateron red and then compare.Since the gateron Jupiter Red are rarely on sale, it's worth buying the used just for the switches.

First Kb with south facing lights and not sure if I like it. The keyboard is still one of the best I've tried though

Buyer beware, the Bluetooth on this thing kinda sucks. So if you plan on using it wirelessly, be prepared for stuck keys and weird quirks

firmware update released and fixed BT issues. it wasn't a big deal either but it's been addressed already

in the end, asking about switches is pointless. unless you have a very very specific question, all advice I've read over the years were truly useless, even if well intended

How does this compare to the RK ROYAL KLUDGE S98 Mechanical Keyboard w/Smart Display ? I like that one better and it has a $15 off coupon taking it down to $75. My plan is to get teh keyboard and use it as is without any modifications or customizations.
