I always read here that about $10 per Ah is ok, so it seems fine, no?

Its a ok deal. Holding out for the 2 8.0Ah deal for $141 to pop up again. Should have purchased 2 of those but cheap ass me only purchased 1

Seems comparable to the deal from a few months back that included (2)4Ah and (1) 2Ah, but with the dual charger for a little over $100.

These are all high performance batteries too, so I think they're a better deal than normal if you're into those given you get a pair of HP 6.0 aH and a 4.0 aH HP.

Is there a particular time of year where these batteries are discounted even more, like Black Friday or something? I'd like to buy a compact reciprocating saw and an impact driver, I guess 1/4" chuck, for DIY construction/remodeling, but would rather try to save more by bundling things. Thanks for useful suggestions!

I bought this set over the weekend. Wasn't sure how good of a deal it was but I only have a 4ah battery for a miter saw and vacuum. Having a pair of 6's is a huge upgrade for me.

That sounds like a better upgrade from 4Ah. I've been using 2x 4Ah in the kids Power Wheels, but 2x 8Ah is probably the sweet spot.

Yes just wait for deals that give you free tool with batteries. Unless you need batteries this instant, I wouldn't jump on this price. At this price there should be some tools included. Believe it not, most of the time you don't need 4Ah capacity and it also makes the tool heavy. It's OK for stuff like leaf blowers or high power tools like miter saw.

Good luck, I'm too deep into ryobi to switch now. Smilie also HD is weird with pricing, sometimes they will have tool for 79.99 but if you search enough, you may find tool free if you buy 2 batteries that becomes like 99.99Or they have pre bundled sets that appear and disappear irregularly, I got jigsaw and nail gun like that and both times they were much cheaper than individually even when batteries were in sale. Newer bundles also get batteries with charge levels, older ones like leaf blower I got with battery did not have push button level indicator.
