Also on sale are the plackers "twin line" floss picks. I thought they were just a dumb gimmick but they work so much better than the single string varieties. I'm never going back.

How does it work more effectively for you? I guess it depends for everyone. For me they feel more stiff and I had to strain my hands more carefully sliding them in I ended feeling more mentally and physically exhausting than with just single or regular floss. It made flossing harder for me compared to single line or even regular floss sometimes.

Best analogy I can think of is how a bubble wand holds onto more fluid than a stick would. Everyone is different and individual results will vary, but I'd recommend to anyone to at least give them a try.
