Correct Duo deal has been around for a long time. However, they nerfed the Duo deal stack with the free fries app offer. For many months I was getting the Duo Original Chicken Sammiches with the free any size fries when you spent $1 app offer. The fries offer changed to $3 required purchase but now the Duo deal doesn't qualify to trigger it.

correct. i already mentioned on other bk deals. that they closed the free fries loophole. eventhough these duo-trio deals arent listed under "promo" along with the free fries tab. but they belong to the other "limited promo" tab so they cant be combined anymore.

whats your best meal now? i went with the $7 whopper or $1.79 burgers (2) only to take adv of the free fries deal.

My mom does not eat beef. I am going to gain weight if I eat two whoppers, in one sitting, because I can. All my walking and lifting free weights for the last three months will be for nothing.

To make the best of the free fries, always get lower priced items and have their total less than the value of the fries.

That is what I do. If they give free any size fries, get the large fries to max that option out and get like two cheap hamburgers.
so whats your order? we all know the formula. but at least give us some recommendations Smilie

yes, the 2 cheap hamburgers were what i said on the previous post. their hamburger isnt cheap though. they are smart enough not to make those hamburgers as a cheap sub for their whoppers. they dont even grill or add whopper flavor to the patty.

Burger king is smartening up too. Look at how they are doing their BOGO deal. They have a 1-2 item set up. One cannot freely choose one whopper and then go back and select another, while the one on the offer is free. Reminds me of McDonald's and Wendy's apps where the app "knows" what you are doing so you cannot combine offers. I think all the fast food places are onto people doing that now. It was only a matter of time.

Ex. I was able to once combine the Grimace meal (remember that?) with a 20% off $8 offer on the McDonald's app. I cannot do that now for the new meals they have out.
well. theres no such BOGO whopper deal anyway. right now they only have the BOGO chickden sandwich. in my opinion. the most expensive but horrible sandwich compared to other fast food chains.

Check your app, or login account on BK.com

The offer for a BOGO Whopper should be there after you sign into either.

Though, for many people, if you need just one Whopper, get today's Wednesday Whopper deal, which may be close to the same price as the BOGO Whopper deal.

EDIT: The Wednesday Whopper deal started years ago for about $1 for a Whopper on Wednesdays. Then just a couple of years ago became $2, and then quickly $3, and even more quickly -- here in California at least -- it is now a Whopping $3.99. This is in comparison to the local Whopper price of $7.59 (your price will vary by your location). I'm curious if your Wednesday Whopper price is also $3.99 across the country now, and how that compares to your regular Whopper price.

Perhaps someone can start a table for Whopper Wednesday price and regular price for different locations.

thats right. they increased the price for wed whopper to the level that i did not participate on the promo since its closed to $4 now. its $3.79 in my area.

they dont stop from there. i see they start to play more tricks recently to cut down the cost. from no more ketchup & napkins available at the counter or we ran out of pickles, just to save some more pennies.

These fast food joints talk about reducing prices, but are making the offers harder to use.
