The Husky Build-out system is better.

The pine wood moving dolly is only $10 @ harbor freight & with lil bit ingenuity & creativity you can make it happen.

This actually looks more likely to slip out or shift without using tie downs versus the standard wood/carpet version for 1/4th the price. What am I missing other than it looks nicer?

This is a dolly for the Rigid line of modular tool boxes. The boxes have clamps that positively lock onto the dolly.

If you don't have the matching toolboxes, there's no point in this dolly - it only makes sense as a part of the tool box system.

Ah, that makes far more sense. I actually have the older pack out kit, not sure if it's compatible but I'll look into it.

ding ding ding -- $50 for a little rolling platform.

"So what's stopping me from simply getting four basic wheels onto a piece of scrap plywood?" Nothing my dear. Nothing at all.

It's made by RIDGID. Everything from them is much more expensive (mostly because everyone does soft-fraud "hacked" returns to get the package pricing on single items).
