It's been around this price for a while. One thing to note is that it's a massive mouse. I ended up returning it. The size and the side button layout is what killed it for me.

I'm looking for a true successor for my aging Logitech G604. That to me is the best multi-side button layout out there and it's a shame Logitech discontinued it. With the amount of ppl in threads asking for a replacement for their G604, I know for a FACT a lot of gamers would eat up a new version with better switches and the same exact side button layout.

Unfortunately for Asus they tried to be cute with the side buttons to make it look like the ROG logo and it suffered greatly.

My favorite mouse, used them for years now. Only issue is the switches wear out pretty quick, so have some replacements onhand to swap out.

As rpitone10 said, it is a large mouse with room on the side to rest your ring finger. If you like larger mice like I do, this one doesn't disappoint.

The G604 is the GOAT! I went on eBay and bought two new and two used for when my other three die.

Are the thumb buttons just ... goofy; or, are they difficult to push while zooming/shooting/moving? Logitech 602: there is a natural place for me to rest my thumb, between the 2 rows of buttons. Just got a no-name SM 809 w 9 side buttons; it's not BAD, but pressing the thumb buttons while playing does not feel natural. You cannot just use the side of your thumb, you need to use the tip to get the correct button.
Anyway - in the 602 camp, any additional thoughts you have would be helpful Smilie

It was hard to distinguish between buttons because of the size, non-universal shape, and placement. It didn't feel natural at all and I also found it harder for my thumb to traverse from one end to the other because of the size.

Was in a similar boat and I ended up getting the Razer Naga Hyperspeed. The Razer Naga V2 Pro offers a more identical button placement, but it was $175 and the Hyperspeed was $60 so I decided to try the Hyperspeed. Quite fond of it now.

Yeah the Spatha is quite a bit larger. I love the feel of my MX Master 3S and I use it daily for work. My G604 is for gaming and has held up pretty well except for the scroll click. For now I live with it but I know the G604 will eventually start to fail more.

Nice yeah I think eventually this will be the one I try to replace my G604 with. I do like how the Pro has the swappable side plate. But yeah, that price is too much. I thought about getting a used first gen Naga Pro but I've heard it had problems with connectivity/stuttering, double clicking, and side panel fragility. Supposedly these are fixed in the V2 Pro I just can't get myself to pay that much.

Give the hyperspeed a shot whenever the G604 bites the dust. I thought I wasn't going to like having that many buttons on the side but it's actually quite usable and the infinite scroll is very handy

Anyone know offhand how the size/weight compare to the Corsair Ironclaw or Roccat Kone? I tried G502x and it was quite a bit too small.

I happened to have a Kone next to me. The Spatha is much larger/heavier.

I bought this to replace my aging Roccat Leadr/Tyon, now it's my favorite mouse. The side buttons take some getting used to but feel natural after getting the muscle memory for them - works great for WoW bindings and I much prefer it over something like the Razer Naga with smaller buttons. It is by far the heaviest/largest mouse I have used, and I wouldn't recommend if you frequently travel the mouse with a high lift-off distance.
