The prices on the items in the focus features store range from decent to mid range (slightly overpriced) but it is also obvious there is a significant profit margin built in to the pricing. They are hoping people spend significantly more than the $200 also

It's not like they're giving you a Visa or Amazon gift card valued at $200. They are giving you a $200 gift card to a vastly inflated price niche movie fan shop. Have you taken a look at the shop items? Most of it looks like contest swag they give away to promote movies. I could be wrong, but I doubt any of it is of decent quality.

I'd agree. The shop is like one step above a dumping ground for swag they couldn't give away. Like D23, it's just an outlet to clearing out their storerooms
