Got one. Refurb batteries can be hit and miss. But with 90 day warranty I suggest using it a bunch through almost full discharge and recharge and make sure it is operating correctly.

Batteries are probably just from returns, but I have no specific knowledge there. I bought this deal the last time it came through (at $150 though) mostly as a way to get a name-brand battery for cheap (as opposed to the sus ones from Amazon/China). So far, it has held up to multiple charge and use cycles with my electric mower. I have also used the blower with the smaller battery and it works great as well.

It is OK to have refurbed tools, but refurbished batteries means used batteries. While used batteries can still be functioning without a problem, its capacity could be going severely downhill since you do not know how many charges on the battery from previous owners. Note that refurbished/renewed items are not only from returns with open box, but also include those leased by stores.

Lots of replies in other threads. Renewed products from Greenworks appear to be returns which have been looked over by distracted teenagers using a checklist which does not include things like "cleaned of prior users lawn debris" or "verified to hold more than 3/4 of rated charge" but appear otherwise serviceable.

Most people find that the products shipped out show minor signs of wear or use, but are functional. YMMV; check/test them as soon as you get them. For two batteries and a blower at $125, it's worth the potential argument with CS about returning inoperable units.

dang, just bought the other deal yesterday, which had the same blower, with 15% off, but not the extra battery. Went ahead and ordered this one too and will return the other or sell it

I bought this last deal as did my neighbor. there's was fine. mine squeals so loud I can't operate it without serious ear protection. customer service made me jump through hoops taking videos and said that's normal and wouldn't do anything for me. there are no returns for this, so it's a gamble and CS is awful
