Another option is to get Amazon Echo devices. Those things will sync with the doorbell and can also play a chime letting you know somebody rang the doorbell. It also has the added functionality of being a speaker, etc... just an option.

The chime pro I purchased was listed as new. The basic chime I received had the packaging all torn up and clearly not new or even refurbished.

No it is basically just a speaker that plays a doorbell sound when someone rings the doorbell.
