It is pretty compact meant for travel, but it should work if they are not hauling a ton of stuff. You can pack a decent amount in here though. My size 13 dress shoes fit along with my laptop, a change of dress clothes, and other odds and ends, so even though it is not bulky the space can be used nicely.

Over priced at $100, but at $50 it's fine like other poster. It does have cushion in the back, weird part is in the laptop portion it doesn't not have padding on front side of it. I do like the square shape of it to fit more, but I also feel the bag doesn't open that wide. It does have enough standard compartment, but nothing unique. The water bottle part doesn't stretch so limited to smaller water bottles. The front flap could be a plus or minus. It gives a clean look and can hide your more sensitive stuff, but I see it as more of a pain to open and close. Material is decent and light weight, but not made for roughing. The zipper works well and doesn't snag on the insides.

I don't think this is a travel backpack,IMO, since it's not the most durable. I think this is more like a go to the coffee shop/work/ maybe school if you are not the super rough type. It looks good and professional. Again, IMO, I like other samsonite backpack more. Might be because it doesn't really fit my need.
If you need a simple backpack that is light weight and look good and have most of what an office person typically needs, at $50 it's a good buy.
