We usually buy laptops from well know brands and they still break after a year, we get zero support and barely able to claim warranty. I don't buy this one cuz I don't need it, but definitely would have give it the benefit of the doubt, specs for the price sounds like an awesome deal.

I ended up buying a laptop from them of slightly higher specs/price. No issues, but ended up returning it because I bought a laptop, and the wife bought a laptop on the same day, and just didn't need 2. Had zero issues returning it.

Vine reviews are shady. I was invited to vine and many of the products in the program are cheap and poorly made yet you see great vine reviews. They pressure you to write a review though without much time to actually test the product, so that doesn't help either.

I've been wondering why those companies using mobile processors in mini PCs weren't making laptops. It looks like now they're moving into this market. Not a bad price but you can find deals for new laptops with similar specs. There was the ASUS with the Intel Core i3 at Best Buy for around $300 and another one at Staples for under $300. There's also a frequently $220 model at Best Buy but it has a TN panel.

Fully disagree, these were entry level specs in early 2019 when this lower end processor was released. these specs are impressively bad for a newly manufactured system.

Deleted my post came off as antagonizing, which wasn't my point. This is also listed, and is worth the extra 80 dollars IMO:

I had 3 laptops all fail within 4 years and just out of warranty. So I bought the rugged dell laptop that is used in war zones. It's slower but no reliability issues since. Windows Update can now brick your PC, which is great.

it is mobile GPU all, but one from 2019, and the benchmark for it is subpar. I bought an openbox from Bestbuy with no scratches and better specs for $128 incl. taxes.

I accepted my invite, and I'm not afraid to wait a month to review a product, or give it one star. I haven't felt any pressure at all. Most things suggested aren't that hard to review, some are cheap, some are overpriced. I've done a bunch of supplements, cables, chargers, even some SSD's. Those are all very easy to review within a month, especially the ones that didn't work well or at all. Takes a while to get to the higher level and review anything over $100, which I'm also not at that level. The ones you disregard, are the ones that just copy and paste what is already on the page, which are extremely easy to find too.

TOP PRIME SERVICE
4.5 out of 5 stars

Reading the 1* reviews, you will see the seller trying to explain why a supposedly "new" laptop's warranty had expired 6 months before someone bought it. Absolutely ridiculous to see staff peddling these given how poor the reviews for the sellers are.

Break because of physical damage or due to poor software maintenance?

I have never had issues with software regardless the brand, usually hinges or keyboard fail, which at some point even if the laptop turns on make it unusable.
