the tear down shows a more advance design to protect this hinge issue from occurring
Didnt stop it from getting the big white lines - without ever dropping it

Anyone know the major differences between the 2024 and 2025 models?
Quote from OrionAntares :
Some reviewers claimed that the build quality of the hinge and casing had improved between 2024 and 2025. Not sure if that's really the case or not.

Motorola claims the 2025 models have an upgraded titanium hinge that is four times stronger than the stainless steel hinge used in previous models.

Omg these things fell in price so fast. Kicking myself for trading an iPhone 13 pro towards the peach fuzz even though I'd previously owned the blue model (didn't like the color, although the texture was better than the peach).

Could've waited a few months. Samsung foldables retain their value much better. Love the Motorola but they're the Pixels of the foldable world when it comes to resale value
stop thinking as phones as return on investment.... no phone should ever retain value just because of hand wear and tear and battery degradatio

also stop buying them on release.... there's hundreds of phones being made every year, there's always discounts

The only exception is the huge discounts they have on new releases sometimes on certain carriers

Got a Razr 2025 (not the plus, granted) about 2 months ago and the screen broke on the first minor drop. I wish a folding phone was feasible, but these are too fragile. I do not recommend them. =(

Any thoughts on getting this to replace an s23 ultra? My screen died yesterday and they want 350 to fix it, and this looks tempting for only 100 more than the repair. Just wasn't sure if it'd be a major downgrade performance wise
Are you big on taking pictures/videos? If so, there will be a big camera downgrade from the S23 Ultra to this. The battery is also smaller than the S23U.

That's not the Razr+.
Big differences, especially in the Processor, Snapdragon 8 gen2 vs Mediatek 7300.

still waiting for the new Motorola edge Plus
Yeah, not sure what's going on with Moto.
I guess they think we all want a Low/Mid range phone or a Foldable. Literally all they have for sale right now.

I just grabbed a 2023 edge+ from the Boost deal.
Running great on Android 15.

Noted but I did say 'one of these' indicating what I purchased as opposed to 'one of those' indicating that they were the same. I know they are not but I didn't (and wouldn't) pay $450 for either of them.
