Not sure how much cheaper Temu, aliexpress and such will be this coming friday. The $800 small package exemption has be killed off by Trump's executive order.
Just ordered from Amazon yesterday and arrived today.
Rather pay the $1 or $2 more for overnight shipping than get stuck with some unknown duty charge.
Just heard on the news France Germany and England have stopped exports today until they figure out how to comply with tariff collections which means anything ordered overseas will probably not arrive for weeks or months and with some unknown "additional charge" to be collected.
If anyone knows how this will play out, or has with recent packages not shipped from temu usa, please share.
Will miss the days when I would be able to bid for something for a penny for overseas and get a package a month later. Now I'm not sure the duty tax is worth the hassle.

But if China makes things better and cheaper, we'll get them one way or another. That's the lesson we've learnt..
