OP some of the downvotes are probably coming because there is the other version of the ultimate 2 where this is the standard price.

OPs version is compatible with the switch + switch 2. Both are compatible with PC. The other version that is cheaper is PC + android. Both controllers work via Bluetooth and 2.4 ghz. Annoying naming by 8BitDo on these two.

Still, this controller has Hall effect sticks/buttons, unlike the Switch 2 Pro controller.

I own this one and it has lasted from abuse for nearly 2 years. it costs more because of the features just mentioned above hall effect sticks, dock station that charges the controller and the dongle can be left inside the dock , making it a wireless connection to the controller at 2.4Ghz. The other versions that are cheaper are without the dock and no hall effect for about half the price. But you are right that 8BitDo has horrible naming schemes for their multiple controllers. a model name in this case would help a lot.

Exactly. This is the Switch version (see the ABXY). The other 1 that is usually this price is the PC/Xbox 1.

Though this isn't as good a deal as it was a fewish weeks ago when it was about $56.
