6 months felt like a long time to wait when I grabbed my Metro Galaxy S21FE so I'd definitely never do a year.

Total has this phone for $49.99 and has the 60 day unlock. They also have the 2024 model for free with port in and some review sites say the 2024 is preferred over the 2025. If you don't want to pay the $60 for the second month, get with chat and ask them to apply their $10. month talk and text plan. This Metro deal makes no sense to me since a 1 year wait. Cricket also has this 2025 Stylus at $19.99 with port in and a 6 month unlock. Drop down to their $30 plan to save. Motorola direct has the 2024 Stylus for $249. fully unlocked and they do take trade in's.

I received my phone today, and the phone works with my Tmobile sim card.

Yes you can't add an additional line while an existing order is processing/shipping. Once it's delivered/activated you can try the add a line but from experience their system usually rejects back to back orders the first few days after activating/adding a line especially if the new line has zero usage on their network.

Thanks good to know. Ive been using the first line for GPS and hot spot. willl probably do the same for the next one.

Do you know if the service is good for 30 days from activation or from activation of the first line?

What happens to the second line when the first line reaches 30 days I dont renew?
All lines have the same due date as the 1st line.
Metro charges you the full month price for the additional lines then pro-rates the 2nd month if you decide to keep service.
Example. you add line #2 15 days before 2nd month due date you pay $35 for line #2 the 1st month. half of the $35 is used for the half month remaining of 1st month and remaining $17.50 is applied towards 2nd months bill, if you do not continue service for 2nd month you forfeit the remaining balance.

Man I love this phone. It's not powerful but good enough for my needs. I use the stylus for photo editing on Photopea. Stream movies from the pirated sites. Revanced suite. Sd slot. Side load. Doesn't feel as solid as my iPhone 15PM and not as smooth. But I can do so much more. iPhone is enterprise; Carrier customized Android is a hack. I use it tethered or on wifi while it's still locked to metro

I have the 2022 or 2023 version of this phone, I constantly get a bad signal

Was able to flash latest RETUS firmware using lenovo/motorola software fix.
Downloaded latest RETUS firmware .zip from lolinet (codename: MONA)
Extracted .zip & renamed folder to match latest T-Mo firmware release .xml folder
Replaced original folder with renamed folder in C:\ProgramData\RSA\Download\RomFiles directory.
Run through normal software fix recovery process, it flashes the renamed firmware believing its the latest T-mo release

Not of much benefit, unlock menu remains the same, if you insert a metro sim it will proceed to install all their bloatware on the phone again.

Have you tested with T-Mobile sim after flashing?

No. It's the same as out of the box. It shows T-mobile unlock app menu with 'permanent unlock' and 'temporary unlock' options after fresh install and no network connection, then as soon as it connects to wi-fi, even without a sim card in the phone, it converts to the Metro unlock app menu with '180 days message'. If T-mobile sim does not work out of the box then I don't see this making a difference.

Hello, So I got this phone to work with my Tmobile sim card (business tablet internet) again. I commented before that I got it to work with Tmobile sim before activating the line and it stopped working after activation.
I was reading on the S25FE comments and someone mentioned about disabling the Metro sim card, and it worked for me. so far I'm able to get both metro phones to work with my Tmobile sim card. The S25FE worked with Tmobile simcard from last night till I removed it this morning to test on the Moto Stylus, which then i could't get it to work for a few hours. I kept messing with it and I think I know how to get it work with Tmobile simcard. You need to go to setting "Choose Network" and select T-mobile. I have screen shot of S25FE and also a video I record for Stylus if you need proof.

So for the Stylus one, just go to Settings and select "Choose Network" and select T-Mobile, then it will work

it worked for 1-2 hours then some how T-Mobile sim card stopped working. it did the same thing to the S25FE. S25FE worked from last night till I removed this morning around 11am. currently both is doing the same thing, will work for a few hours then stops. . when choosing the T-Mobile network, it should pop up a message "registering T-Mobile network". if it keep trying to connect to T-Mobile network continuously then it won't work.

Samsung tablet is free again, but I only have one day left in my contract and Metro won't let me order any other devices. Guess I'll have to make a new account.

so 13 pages and no one's gotten this phone yet to test if it being locked to metro would still work with a postpaid T-Mobile sim in it?
My second Moto G Stylus 2025 is in and both failed to work with two separate postpaid T-Mobile sims in it. One member got it working using a trick to disable eSIMs etc but I didn't followup on that.

Quote from CyanWing :
If you've ever had metro before this account, you likely won't have your add a line order go through on the 1st day of new account. Give it 3-4 days, make sure to use line #1 with calls/text/data then using your mobile data and the browser (not the metro app) on phone #1 login to your existing account and go through the 'add a line' process there for best odds of order being approved by automated system. Recent limit appears to be 2 additional lines at the $35 price then it goes back up to normal price per line. With no history with MetroPCS and spaced out orders you can get up to 4 phones but reality is usually only 2 and 3 is a stretch within the 1st month.
1. If I order a second phone with the account date 10 days away and receive, activate the second phone with the account date 2 days away, would the second phone continue to have service for 30 days if I don't renew the account? Or are all the lines suspended?
2. I just got a number on the second phone that spells "THE-BOSS" and need to port this to google voice so I don't loose it! Do I have to initiate the port out from metro to google voice right now with just 2 days left (and we just entered the weekend) or will I have a longer window Confused
