Picked one up yesterday from BB and side by side with the lights off next to a QD OLED they looked very close, once you turned the lights on though, the antireflective coating on this thing is incredible and really make it stand out as better. If you have any kind of ambient lights I would definitely recommend this sucker.

I don't need 480hz but the HMDI 2.1 and DP 2.1 mean no issues with console games. Never hurts to have the extra hertz.

Oh and the rear RGB is nice.

The true pay to win mechanic is a graphics card and a monitor that can support refresh rates this absurdly high. It's been a lot easier popping off heads in games with this monitor

Do you know if this monitor can do 480hz without using DSC?

Not sure what DSC is, I just plugged it into my windows 11 running PC that has an rtx 3080, using the included DisplayPort cable, and it automatically switched to 480hz.

Edit: after looking up DSC I have no idea how I would even know if it has to be on to get 480 hz. I just know I don't have the alt-tab black screen issue some Nvidia owners say happens with DSC.
