Priority data depends on the tower and load. Basically in cities in areas where towers might be overloaded, high priority data can make a big difference. It might be that you get like 5 Mbps, or you might not even be able to load a webpage in very crowded conditions. Otherwise, it won't. A good article is this one. From what I've heard, Verizon (US Mobile Warp, Xfinity) because they only have 2 priorities and a lot of customers, being on QCI sucks in cities, while AT&T and T-Mobile are generally not as big of a deal to be on lower priority.

Xfinity is QCI 8 (high priority) on Verizon network already, so being on Warp will have the same experience. But the nice thing about US Mobile is you can go to AT&T or T-Mobile networks (they call them Dark Star and Light Speed respectively), which could have much better results in your area in mall parking lots.

Though because they have all 3 networks there are some differences. On Unlimited Starter, 70 GB cap is for T-Mobile and Verizon, while AT&T is uncapped. And then for Unlimited Premium, T-Mobile doesn't get higher priority data. The details are in the "Varies by network" link on the plan page.

Not sure how long you have to activate, in the past it has been either 30 or 90 days, but you can check/ask reddit.com/r/usmobile or their chat to confirm which

good deal, but remember it'll renew at the regular price in a year. I'm on usmobile right now, and their coverage, network speeds (on Verizon) and customer service are stellar. if you don't mind renewing at regular price, I think it's a great deal.

Which buttons don't work for you? They all seem to work on my PC and Android Chrome browser.
Almost every button actually on my iPad Safari and Chrome. But as long as it's working on pc and android on you. I'll just switch and try them out. Thanks man.

You can port number out to a cheap first month mvno prepaid service and then port back in as a new customer?

Edit: if promo doesn't accept your number then you may need to wait 15 days to activate while still continue service with that other mvno service. Secondly you'll likely lose priority data privilege if new customer after August 18.
Their terms say 15 days from when you PURCHASE the promo, not when you activate. So it's too late to do this for this promo for any number already on US Mobile.

Anybody know how often BOGO lines are offered? Is it a fairly common deal or just like once a year.
Looking to switch carriers but need two lines. Bogo seems better than this deal
It's pretty common and sometimes the promo runs for several weeks to a couple of months. After doing some research about the different NVMOs, I had finally decided to port over to USMobile (for their flexibility to switch between the 3 networks or to be on the 3 networks at the same time) from Verizon (out-of-contract with V for more than 5+ years) on the Dark Star (AT&T) BOGO deal (has to keep AT&T as the main network) back in early June. The BOGO deal had started back in May, but since they put an expiration/deadline on the BOGO deal, that was supposed to end on June 8th, I had to jump on it. As it turns out, when the BOGO deal's countdown clock did finally expired on the website, the countdown clock renewed with a different future expiration date that was like 2-3 weeks out.

This is one of the best plans out there. Depending on need, this and visible are decent. They have been jerking around with hotspot data levels, varying by the provider, but other than that they are pretty competitive.

If I currently lived in a high population area, this is definitely something I'd have to get. Jumping networks is essential, depending on which city jerkoff made a deal with verizon or at&t or whoever. It tends to matter more than you wish when on a metro or downtown. DC, for instance, was a Verizon whore for awhile. You'd get nothing on any other service underground. Might have changed since then, but regardless, that's a real problem for big city folk.

But this service is getting very close to a general ISP/phone replacement, even for outlying rural areas. Once they figure out how to do actual unlimited hotspot, cable ISP's are in real trouble. It's currently almost 'good enough' if you are a casual web user. $30 a month, and you're done for utilities. Not a bad way to get off the monopoly zoned cable train.

How is the Customer Service? Is it easy to port out once contract is up and you want to switch?

Port is easy. I've taken my number to another carrier for a phone deal, and later took the number back to USM. But it is very annoying to port out of boost for example...

Can someone explain the multi network add-on and the ability to jump networks? Is that something you have to do manually or does it happen automatically? I live in a very rural area where each of the big three have certain areas where they're better than others. Would this enable me to jump among the networks as needed? Would my phone do it automatically or do I have to tell it to jump and could you do that even in mid conversation?

What a way to show appreciation for the loyal customers
Hey, that's just the name of the game these days. Pretty much everyone will throw you a deal to get you on their plans. Switch, switch, switch. It's just like employment.

It isn't all bad though. Like $25 a month for unlimited? Do you remember when we used to pay 10 cents per text back in the early 00s? We could possibly be in the golden era of cellular and not even know it. I don't ever want to experience only having two choices for cell service and being charged out the ass for both again.

Multi-network is $10 extra per month, you get 2 numbers on your cell phone. you have to manually switch or use the app to switch to different network. THey also have teleport where you can literary port your number to any carriers for $2. If you have premium, it is free.

Are we 100% sure it's a second phone number or is it like Google Fi where it's 1 number connected to 2 carriers at once?

It's not like Google Fi (which is pretty much just TMo anyways now). If you switch networks they move your line over to the other carrier and give you a new eSIM.

It's always been good for me. I've been using them off/on for the past 5 years or so, mostly on Warp but occasionally on Lightspeed as well. I haven't run into any issues that they couldn't solve via chat.

Porting out is pretty simple, you just tell them you want to port out and they'll give you the acct number and PIN. Always went through right away for me.
