It's convenient for what it is, but I find I can pretty much buy a couple of Betty Crocker Flavored Mashed Potatoes, some store branded flavored instant oatmeal, and a couple of Knorr Flavored Rice packets for less than what this costs. Also, this kit may slow down some hunger pangs, but one should have some fats and proteins to round out these straight carb meals.

Good find. Pretty basic foods, but will work in an emergency, especially if you can't get to your home. Can't beat the price either.

Still overpriced shelf foods. Regular stuff like a couple cans would fine

So I thought it would be three servings of each, but the bag pictured says 26 servings. Is this correct?

These are pretty bad, Oatmeal, rice and soup mix are some of the lowest costs foods you can buy. Go buy a bag of each for $2 even better buy a couple cans of each !

You get what you pay for... you can either get cheap and bad, which this is, or pay a lot more for good like Mountain House. We are on slickdeals so generally you will find the most bang for the buck on here.

Mountain House is disgusting even by survival standards. If I'm going to eat garbage I don't want to pay too much for it.

The good news is it lasts 25 years. The bad news is the manufacturing date is 1999, hence the sale.
