Personally after using my pro so many years i cant go to any ipads without 120hz. Im hoping they come out with a oled 120hz soon
Currently using a tablet with a 165hz screen, and for things I use a my tablet for like reading, shows and movies, there's obviously no difference. Other than smoother scrolling on websites and in the OS I personally don't see the need for anything above 60hz and I typically turn it off.
I used to tell myself when the Mach 3 razor came out, I would wait for the Mach 7. Never happened. I figured that we would be at a 12 bladed razor by now, but no luck.

The overall experience is just better on a 120-Hz screen. From switching between apps to scrolling through pages. Less strain on your eyes, so you can use the device longer without feeling fatigued. I still love my Mini 7, I wouldn't want to get anything bigger than this.
The font on this thing is way too small. Bought and Returned. You can try to increase it but it's not consistent throughout the entire OS experience. For example, the top menu bar is so small it's like font 3 and you can't change it. Beware.

If you used the current or former generation of the iPad mini, you wouldn't have that same opinion. Due to the way the screen works, there is a very noticeable 'jelly scroll' problem. It was more pronounced on the prior gen Mini because when you held it in portrait mode (which most people would usually do with the Mini), the right side of the screen would update slower, so as you scrolled through text, etc., it looked slanted. They "fixed" this on the current generation by moving the (I think) digitizer to the landscape side, so all they did was move the problem to a different location. Movies and videos, etc. are fine, but any type of scrolling through text will result in that fundamental design flaw.
Point being, it's extremely annoying and noticeable and a 120hz display would not have that issue. Once you see it, you can't not see it. The fact that they didn't fix this ("You're holding it wrong") is the reason I didn't buy the 7 and am waiting on the 8, assuming they fix it then.
