To really hear what this is capable of, you need to watch a 4K blu-ray. The audio blows streaming audio away. Streaming platform audio is all compressed, unless you download the uncompressed files (which are usually huge files) and use something like a Plex server. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what your internet speed is. Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, etc… all compressed. Disc audio is noticeably better. I have Top Gun Maverick digitally and on 4K blu-ray, and it's a big difference. It sounds amazing on this system.

I bought the Samsung HW-S800B 3.1.2ch a year ago and added open box rears for a really decent deal. If I recall Buydig offered me partial refund to keep it. Good investment, enjoy it everyday.

I have a dumb question but here it goes: How can this be an 11.1.4 setup? I see a soundbar so I'll assume that is the front left/front right/center. Then I see the 2 rears which would be the back left and back right. Then I see 1 sub. Wouldn't this be a 5.1?
