These are almost there. Had a pair I used for work and travel over the course of about 2 weeks. They're just not quite what you would want app and FOV wise. That and some limitations around what can and can't be done keep them from being great instead of just ok. For $400 they need to be great. Otherwise it's just an over priced novelty. Google Daydream was better 10 years ago.

That's why you go for the XREAL Air (base model) for about $200 or less (much less for used)


because as a portable monitor solution they are excellent! A 120" OLED screen is definitely worth that price of entry.
