These cables are great. Bought last year for the same price. To be honest, I don't use it everyday since I have multiple charging docks. But for this price, it does a solid job for charging phones and laptops. And average job of data transfer since it is still USB 2.0 speeds

Yep, the little aluminum casing on the end isn never well attached, and you can see it obviously has no strain relief for the cable. Not a durable design.

These are not 240W cables. These are generic 60W ones. It's a lie "240W charge". They don't have an emarker chip.

I looked through all the review pics. Seems there are 4 who agree with you. 1 that says there is an e-chip (and shows pics), but claims it's only on one side so you must flip it to the correct side, otherwise it will max at 60w. And another review that shows charge at 135w out of a 140w port. Seems risky, but maybe worth a shot? I have a 140w charger i'd like to use.
