This is cheaper than the standard price for an internal 8TB SSD.
Which begs the question... Shuckable? This size and form factor leads me to believe that it's 2-4 smaller SSDs running in JBOD/RAID.

Have multiple of this design. They do not overheat in room temp, but the tradeoff is they do not run fast enough to.
It gets hot, but the lack of DRAM cache is the major factor for large transfers.
