This is the third re-issue of this 4K copy of Lawrence of Arabia. I don't think there was a US release on this third reissue so when it became available for pre-order a couple of months ago, it was mostly from European sellers such as Amazon UK, Zavvi, Rarewaves, OrbitDvd etc. As usual, they sold out right away.
This is the first time it will be available from a US seller for this third reissue other than EBay. Scalpers are asking for $75 up on EBay and it is very hard to get a copy of this disc. I know the price might be high compared to other 4K titles but at least you're not paying scalpers. This is an import and a steelbook reissue as well so the higher price is expected. Pre-order now as it will be released next Friday 08/29 to get this Holy Grail! It will sell out quickly!

Lucky you. I know that 2nd reissue sold out right away. I don't know why they did not do a US release this time around.
