how so? Data agreed, but no international calling that I can see included. certainly not 20 countries. just depends what your needs are. Also, Red Pocket typically runs renewal deals where your annual plan isn't double the following year. To keep porting and switching carriers gets to be a pain.

And the pricing games continue with Red Pocket. This company continues to go down hill. Red Pocket used to be the most competitively priced with the eBay plans but they've jacked up plans and offered fewer and smaller discounts. Customer service was always non-existent but you knew that for the bottom level price. Don't fall for new customer deals so long as the existing customer deals on high data plans have dried up. It's a trap for future rates that are not competitive all for a bottom level service. Without the old eBay discounts on high data plans, RPs glory days are over. Find your way out of their trap and avoid at all costs of you are a new customer.
Such a shame they've decided to adopt this model.

The thing is, the renewal deals are less frequent and higher priced the past couple years now. Cell data is one of the few products where prices have generally fallen or been stable over the past 5 years but Redpocket has been climbing because the real renewal deals are all but gone. Your last line about porting being a pain is exactly how Redpocket is trying to trap people and squeeze every existing customer into higher prices. There are plenty of better options unless the high data renewal plans on eBay come back under $200.

been doing the port in, port out for years. every time i try to port in/out of mint it gets worse. i find i have to call mint customer service all the time because they provide incorrect port out pins or process my digital port in info incorrectly. the last time it took me over 30 mins with some lady who couldn't understand basic english.

Hotspot usage doesn't seem to be supported with this plan

One of the changes that led me to drop RP. Their ebay plans 15/20/25GB used to be all available for hotspot. Now, it's limited or eliminated depending on the plan.

Under Broadband Facts, no:
Hotspot Data Included with Monthly Price - None

Recently RP customer service was so bad that I asked if I could talk to AI instead.
