No I don't think he did. There are different versions for a few reasons. The silicon tip style doesn't fit certain types of ears. This is the only style I can comfortably wear for more than 20 mins.

False, ear buds have been like like shape for years. Some people like myself really hate those rubber tips and / or plugs. I still use my 1st gen AirPods specially because of this.

What's the cure to my AirPods falling and able to fit inside the case ? I bought the aftermarket ear tips but it's annoying removing them before putting them back per gym session
