A couple of things to consider...

1) When you use your credit card, you're being watched and tracked. "I've nothing to hide," you say? Then read the book "Stand out of our light" a/o "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism". Cash === Privacy

2) Cash makes the expense real. A credit card is an abstraction. Like you, I use my card 95% of the time. But I'm confident that if I used more cash more often, I'd spend less.

3) If you're spending at local small businesses, you're saving them from paying the merchant fee. Sure, it's an accepted cost of doing business but using cash is a form of empathy and in a way, kindness.

Between the three of these there's still a very strong case for cash in 2025+

I'm so confused by people using cash in 2025. Do you just go to the ATM all the time? Why? My debit card has access to my bank account money anyway. Even the thing where sometimes there's a fee for paying with credit cards, that almost never comes up anymore, and even when it does I think it doesn't apply for debit cards.

Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered one. The nylon tab version was showing up at full price earlier but appears to be discounted now.

This is the best wallet ever! Been using them for the last 10 years. Would never use a different wallet again. Bought 1 as a spare. They last 2 or 3 years depending on how much you stretch them.

I would love to be no-cash - but the best pizza place in my area is cash only, just went on vacation in New England and the mini-golf place, ice-cream place, etc. were all cash only. It sucks - but it still seems necessary to have cash on me.
If you know in advance you just grab cash right before you go. If it's by surprise, I've never gone to a cash-only place that doesn't have an ATM (or at least one nearby). There's a plethora of banks that offer free ATM fee reimbursements

Weird conversation in here, but this is a good wallet. I'm on my second. The first lasted about 5 years. I keep 4 cards and a couple bills in it, and it's perfect. I personally wouldn't use it if I carried more than 4 cards, although it certainly can fit more. To me, the nice thing about it is when you pull the flap, 4 cards are immediately exposed for use.

I add to cart for $9.99. I go to check out and it's $19.99.
Something is wonky.
I've gone through 2 of these the last 8 years or so. They're great.

Shoot, black/nylon showing $19.99 now. Only the gray one is $9.99 (the gray material gets pretty dirty over time).

1. You are also being tracked by having a cellphone, internet, car etc.
2. Agreed.
3. I am sure that small businesses would rather have some money rather than no money. Also some charge extra for a credit usage.

None of what you have any relivance to the wallet itself. It sounds to me like changing your spending habits is the key.

most stuff is now digital these days, I've stopped carrying wallets majority of the time out and about. But I do have a full wallet with cards and everything. Only reason I'd carry that now is to carry cash. Cash transaction more often then not include coins, and no way am I putting coins in these stuff. Wallets, with cash is way to go. Anything I would have in slim wallets are better off not being carried. even the cops take "Pictures" of an ID, got stopped twice. can confirm.
