Bought this deal the last time it was available. After selling the battery which I don't need for an easy $50, this impact cost me under $200 before taxes. You could disassemble a steel bridge with this impact.

How can I hack it this time? Last time I got the $249 w/battery but I already have a battery hiding so need to return whole set and just buy the impact.

edit
nvm have to find the $299 impact and add battery seperately.

any good deals to get into the ecosystem, they don't supply a charger in most deals of any merit.

Get a charger from craigslist or whatever. Lots of folks who have a decent size milwaukee collection have too many chargers... especially the M12 chargers.

I bought the same tool bare, for 219 on Amazon a couple months back. Comes out to $224 shipped for this deal with my military discount. Not too shabby.

Most people would be better off with a much lower torque impact wrench. The high torque impact wrench is only better if you actually need it. They're heavier and have lower RPM. In other words, you'll be able to complete tasks faster with the lower torque impact wrench. They'll still work, but no reason to spend $250 on something you can get better use out of for under $100.

What would you recommend? I think I'm in that club that you mentioned.
