$2.16 per gallon for water is a terrible deal.

Never understood these things. Like who only wants 8 ounces of water. I can see them being good for outdoor parties but I can't imagine actually stocking these for myself.

I walked into Aldi for the first time in my life after reading on AI about it's lower prices than those of whole foods and even traders Joe. I found 24 or 32 count 16oz Spring water, not just purified tap water, for $3.xx beating DT. I was amazed with such a good price for Spring water. Purified water was even lower price.

2.50 in Aldi. It's every day price. But different brand.

Must be regional. Where I am it is higher living expenses so it is 3.29 or 3.50 or similar. What region are you looking at and 2.50 is for the spring water not the purified ones?

I buy these to use for my kid's field trips where I might have to chaperone additional kids. I put these in a small cooler with some ice and give them away as needed. The bigger 16oz bottles are more cumbersome for them and heavier for me to carry. People also use these for parties since most often guests would leave half empty bottles of the 16oz.

For young kids, the smaller bottles are easier for them to handle and they usually won't finish a larger bottle.

Does water from the tap cost nothing, or do you already pay for it at home?

Please people. Why are you:

a) Putting zillions of plastic bottles into landfill? (If you believe they get recycled please contact me for a bridge purchase. It's a beauty).
b) Voluntary swallowing tons of PFCs?
c) PAYING FOR WATER?

PS: Most of the bottled water comes from municipal sources--just like your tap water. This stuff is no better than what comes out of your tap. They're playing for you fools/suckers.
