I've had classic 4 and now I own classic 6. I don't think it's worth upgrading. I was happy with classic 4, but it stopped working (water damage from showering. weird considering it should be water proof) so I ended up buying classic 6. Classic 6 is physically built better.

Classic 4 refurb lasts barely half a day for me but not huge deal. How difficult is it to replace batteries in these?

i bought this back in December i was planning on trading it in but i prefer this over the ultra. it wasn't worth paying 200 plus more to trade in the 6 classic. I like the spinning dial and most people do as well.

I hope you no longer shower with a watch on (or not one you care about). You might be lucky and it not get damaged, but why risk it with chemicals, steam, water?

Now I wouldn't shower with a true diver's watch on. But I am risk-averse, and I've had water-resistant watches fail on me in the past as well. I'd take one off and pocket it in the rain. Big Grin

I think it's a good tip. The thing about these smart watches, the price continues to go down so the convenience is worth the risk. And battery continues to deteriorate anyway. I do hope that it lasts until Watch 8 Classic dips below 100 with trade-in. I trade-in to re-new battery and warranty. The upgrade itself is not really worth again going from 6 to 8 again.

The correct term is "water resistant" according to ISO standard 22810:2010. I wear my Galaxy Watch in the shower every day for a couple of years and no problem.
