The Aqara U100 does not have Matter support, while, as somebody else here pointed out, this Eufy unit does.
The Aqara U200 and U300 both support Matter, but cost more ($179).
I already have the Aqara G410 doorbell so am motivated to stick with the brand, if nothing to else to avoid installing one more app. The G410 came with a Matter hub and works with Home Assistant, so Matter and HA integration are important, besides a positive review from the LockPickingLawyer on youtube (no reviews of Aqara I could find) for me. Going to pass on this deal and wait for one on Aqara.

The chime unit included with the Aqara G410 doorbell has the model number CH-C09D or CH-C09E, depending on the region. This unit acts as the Matter hub, allowing you to connect and control other Aqara Zigbee devices and Matter-compatible devices.
The Matter hub included with the Aqara G410 doorbell is not compatible with the Aqara U200 and U300 smart locks.
The U200 and U300 smart locks use Matter over Thread for connectivity, which is a different protocol than the Matter hub in the G410 doorbell. To connect the U200 or U300 to your smart home ecosystem, you need a compatible Matter hub that also acts as a Thread Border Router, such as the Aqara Hub M3.
Aqara has designed its newer devices to work with specific hubs to ensure the most reliable connection. The G410 doorbell serves as a hub for Zigbee and Matter, but not for Thread-based devices like the U200 and U300 locks.

I have the e30, bought it back in March. It's a battery hog. The fingerprint and keypad is great. Took a bit to get Matter setup on it, but I got it working on SmartThings now, and it covers over to Google Home as well (via Matter).
I'd suggest getting the one with the battery pack instead. It's only been 5 months and I've gone through 2 sets of 8 AA batteries.
Why not just get rechargeable batteries for the E3O?
in total I have about 15 different eufy cams I've bought slowly over the last 7 years. Not having to pay for a monthly sub + having video on a removable SD card was what first hooked me
