Watches don't sell very fast... in fact, it's 80% of the problem and 20% of the sales in a jewelry store. So, they offer to Jomashop a list of stuff they have in stock , at a wholesale industry price. Jomashop either buys the inventory or lists it on their site, at of course a substantial discount from the retail price (unless it's rolex or other higher tier brands, which are stricter in how much it can be sold for).
So, you buy it from Jomashop, it's authentic from them or from another jewelry store or dept store, etc. You just can't get the "manufacturer's warranty" since you didn't buy it at retail.
You don't really need it for this price point and for quartz really. So , it's a no brainer.
