How do the specs compare to the Moto G Power 2024?
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) and Moto G Power 5G (2024) are similar in many ways but have distinct strengths in performance, charging, RAM, and features[1].
## Key Takeaways
### Performance & Memory
- The Moto G Power 5G (2024) offers more RAM (8GB vs. 6GB), making it better for multitasking and longevity[1].
- The Snapdragon chip in the Stylus 5G (2023) is known for balanced power and efficiency; the MediaTek in the G Power 2024 is solid but less common in US phones[1].
### Display & Build
- Both have large, sharp FHD+ LCD panels at 120Hz, but the Power is slightly bigger (6.7" vs. 6.6")[1].
### Cameras
- Both use a 50MP main camera, but the Power 2024 adds OIS (optical image stabilization) for better low-light and video[1].
- Both have 8MP ultrawide cameras and 16MP selfie cams[1].
### Battery & Charging
- Both pack a 5000 mAh battery, but only the G Power 2024 supports faster 30W wired and 15W wireless charging; Stylus is capped at 20W wired[1].
### Features
- Only the Stylus 5G (2023) has a built-in stylus and FM radio; only the Power 2024 offers wireless charging and newer Android (14 vs. 13 on release)[1].
## Conclusion
Choose the Stylus 5G (2023) for stylus use and balanced features, or the Power 5G (2024) for more RAM, faster charging, and the latest software[1]. Both are solid performers for everyday tasks, but special features like the stylus or wireless charging may tip the balance depending on individual needs[1].
Does the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G - 4/128GB (2023) have all the 5g bands for T-Mobile 5G?
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) 4/128GB model includes a comprehensive selection of 5G bands and is well-suited for T-Mobile's 5G network in the US, supporting all main T-Mobile 5G bands including both low-band (coverage) and mid-band (Ultra Capacity) frequencies[1].
## 5G Bands Supported on the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023)
- The phone lists support for the following 5G NR (New Radio) bands:
- n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n12, n13, n14, n25, n26, n29, n30, n38, n41, n48, n66, n70, n71, n77, n78 (SA/NSA)[1].
## T-Mobile's Key 5G Bands
- **Primary T-Mobile 5G bands** for wide coverage and fastest speeds:
- n71 (600 MHz, Extended Range/low-band)
- n41 (2.5 GHz, Ultra Capacity/mid-band)
- n66 (AWS, low/mid-band, also for LTE aggregation)
- n77 (C-band, rolled out for even higher Ultra Capacity coverage)
- The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) supports all of these: n41, n71, n66, and n77[1].
## Compatibility Overview
- **Conclusion**: This device is fully compatible with T-Mobile's entire 5G network (including both Extended Range and Ultra Capacity 5G) and should not miss out on any key coverage or speed zones[1][2].
## Additional Notes
- Being unlocked, it will work out of the box on T-Mobile and plenty of MVNOs using T-Mobile's network[3].
- mmWave (high-band, used in some dense urban sites: n260/n261) is *not* supported, but T-Mobile's mmWave footprint is extremely limited, so this isn't likely to affect real-world experience for the vast majority of users[2][1].
In summary, the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 (4/128GB) is **a strong fit for T-Mobile 5G**, supporting all major 5G bands needed for nationwide coverage and high speeds in the US[1][2][3].

Yes you're right it says 4/128. What's weird tho is in the description it says "256GB storage. Hold your everyday inspirations and still have plenty of room for your apps, photos, songs, and movies."
Yeah it seems like a pretty good deal. Biggest thing for my kids is I want them to have wireless charging. My 16 year olds last phone her Galaxy A54 she broke the charging port holding it up against her body. So I wanted the next one to have wireless charging as a back up. Other thing I'd be worried about is 4 GB RAM vs 8 GB in the Moto G Power 2024.

Not much life left in this The Moto G Stylus 2023 is guaranteed to receive one major Android OS update (Android 14) and three years of bi-monthly security updates, which should continue until 2026. While the device may receive the promised number of updates, Motorola is known for being slow with releases, so don't expect updates to be on a strict schedule.
I still got Metro model from $40 deal back in 2023 its on Android 14 July 2025 security patch. Security patch seems to be every 2-3 months. Security updates will stop on June, 2026

End of life is in 8 months. Afterwards, no more security patches. So not great unless you treat this more like a burner phone or backup phone.
shows June 2026 for last security patch so another 10 months.
