I wonder if it's because of the app, but it's not applying on my three choices.

it won't let me remove this auto applied discount: REWIND15OFF3

Edit: At the time the section titled 40% off 3 or more wasn't yet live. So I was throwing in random steelbooks into my cart 😔

Thanks OP, repped! Compared to other deals the last couple of years for 4k physical disk movies this has to be the best! The average worked out to $10 per movie (I got 8), which is probably $2-4 cheaper than I am used to paying on the "deals" nowadays, and even better is that the selection is great and has a lot of movies that aren't the usual suspects for 4k deals (like the gruv deals, amazon deals, target deals, etc.) where I have pretty much every movie in the normal list as it seems like 90% of the movies in the deals are the same ones for at least like the last 7 or so years. The only downside, there aren't many available for each title, many of these movies will be gone before long, there were only a few left for like 4 of my 8.

I have ordered from this seller before. Never had issues.
I have all the movies i want in physical media (i have over 150) so i don't need any of the ones that are on sale but if you want any of them i say go for it the seller is reputable.

i ordered several movies from this seller. beware and check your discs. despite all of them coming shrink wrapped, they were all used. finger prints on bottom and some even asking if i wasn't to resume where it last left off when the prior owner played it. others had this word gunk on the inside of the box on the side where the disc goes in. if you look at the reviews, every now and then there are some folks mentioning the same. i don't know if i got unlucky or if others are assuming they got new ones because of the shrink wrap that wasn't original, but more of a heads up

UHD 4K disks are read only media... meaning it is technically impossible for a disk to "remember" where it was stopped/paused on a previous player. It is a function of the player to index where a particular disk was stopped on that player. As for the rest, it is definitely possible that they are repackaging used disks, another way to be sure is to try to redeem the digital version of the movie, those redemption codes are serialized and unique. It is possible, but highly unlikely, that someone would buy and open a disk but not redeem the code. Personally, as long as the disk doesn't have any permanent scratches, etc. and the code works, I don't think I will care. I normally don't buy useed 4k disks because the few times I tried the disks have always had playback issues. Given the high density of data on the disk, they are pretty sensitive to surface imperfections. I ordered 12 movies from this deal, so I guess I will have 12 chances to confirm used vs. new.

that's what i thought as well. imagine my surprise when i put the disc in immediately after opening from shrink wrap? it seems some 4k discs are coded to somehow recall where it last left off and others aren't. if you have 2 different 4k players and zombieland 1, you can test it out yourself. I'm telling you that's what happened to me.. here's what i looked up after it happened to me cause i was thinking the same exact thing at first (hence the shock). seller probably was thinking the same? https://www.reddit.com/r/4kbluray...remembers/

i have the pictures to prove they were used in shrink wrap. seller messaged saying they may have accidentally sent previously used discs but then you'd have to ask yourself, why were they shrink wrapped to look like they were new? brand new tends to fetch a higher price than like new. it's possible the seller is honest and selling mostly new but the fact they're selling used in shrink wrap that looks like original shrink wrap tells me that probability isn't extremely high. but again, go through the sellers reviews (some say came without code - i haven't checked the code cause i don't use digital). seems I'm not the only one that noticed this (most people wouldn't). one of my four had light scratches (again, i have pictures to prove it)

I'm probably late, but I didn't see any (3) total that I would want. I'd like Glory but no other 2 to make the deal for me.
Wish they had Jaws, Great Outdoors.

It's not possible for any disc to resume at the same spot on another machine. This isn't a VHS tape. Your stopping point is cached on your individual player. Not the disc. It's literally impossible for any player to write data to any disc. Players "read" they don't "write." If your player is resuming the disc it's only possible because you previously watched the movie. All discs are the same. They aren't unique. So it would resume the same spot regardless of which disc was inserted.

I am not doubting that your discs were repackaged, but what you are claiming about it remembering the progress on the disc itself is absolutely physically impossible.

It would require expensive tech in both the disc and the player, all to achieve a resume feature that would work worse than what we are telling you actually exists.

If your player asked you to resume Zombieland, it is beyond any doubt because that player had already played a Zombieland disc previously.

i don't know what to tell you besides i have never had that disc and it never played on my machine. i put the disc in the moment i opened it from the wrapper. i get that it sounds crazy cause it didn't make any sense to me either but there are folks stating that some discs are capable of doing that (still fuzzy to me how it's possible). I'm only conveying exactly what i have experienced.i will also mention i am extremely meticulous with my discs. i have ebay reviews stating as such when i do sell my blu ray discs that are 10 years plus (they are as clean as they were when in the original wrapping).do with that as you will but this is more of a heads up.

this is fair comment. i would've responded and thought precisely the same way. respect
