As the first comment on woot said
"Not legal for "tournament" play.
And you'll probably get a TON of $hit from people on the recreational court, once someone calls you out for having\using it"

But it's a great alternative to paying 300

Cheaper than the last woot deal on this paddle. But as first post said, not legal for tournament play. I think most people in recreational public park play probably wont care very much.

You can probably get gen 3 paddles at or about $100 if you wanted something approved tournament play.

Unfortunately Gen3 Joola paddles are not approved for USAP tournament play.TBH only at the top level would it be a difference advantage!Everyone else is just kidding themselves believing it was the advantage on winning in my experience.

No specifics:
"USA Pickleball recently de-listed certain paddles after JOOLA notified USA Pickleball that it had previously submitted the wrong paddles for certification (see USA Pickleball statement posted on May 16). JOOLA also informed USA Pickleball that it intended to submit additional paddles for certification.

USA Pickleball received and tested the newly submitted paddles, which did not meet our approved equipment standards. As a result, these paddles have not been added to the USA Pickleball approved equipment list."

Dang, I just snagged 42 of those Humana paddles for my pickle ball club, but now I'm thinking it might be better to list them on eBay with how much these things go for

During that same sale, the mod-ta paddle was much cheaper and a better paddle ($50). Since they were both illegal, there's no point in paying more for these.
