Full disclosure: I own this model and found it performed well on both carpet and tile. However, it occasionally lost its saved map, and the LIDAR eventually failed. I replaced it with a Roborock, which has been more reliable with mapping. Later, I bought a replacement LIDAR unit from AliExpress for around $20, and it worked fine afterward. I'm not currently using the original vacuum, but I keep it as a backup in case the Roborock has issues.

For $88, a LIDAR-based vacuum with an auto-empty base is a solid deal. I am not sure if they ever fixed that bug that made it lose the saved map.

If you have a lot of dog hair, you should do this fix to make it suck the hair out. I had to do it with mine for German Shepherd hair and it worked well after that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH0Z9P9FcZY

i also have this model and have fluffy dogs. never heard about this fix until your post. thanks for sharing!
The fix works well. We have a dog and it fully empties consistently on the times where it doesn't get lost or stuck.

Does this unit use proprietary dustbags or can I empty it myself?

Proprietary, but there are cheap 3rd party options. I've seen one where someone installed a zipper so they can empty the bag, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Will this work on 220 volts (Europe) or only 110 volts (Usa)?

I would like to buy this but want to bring it to Germany with me.

I've had this model since 2022. Same experience pretty much. Annoying when it loses the map, but not a deal breaker. Also did the hack due to pet fur. I paid more than twice this amount. Great deal.

Owned it. Worked great for maybe 5 months. Just terrible with pets. Don't waste the 88$

even with this fix mine would never empty and remain clogged. The suction openings are just too small for anything of substance.

I owned this model for a couple years. There is a reason it is now $88.

I agree with everyone. While great when I bought it 3 years ago, there is a reason why it's $88. Don't expect much, but it does the job. I do see deals for other robot vacs for around $200 here and there and would recommend waiting for those rather spending money on this now.

also own and the mapping issues were persistently an issue. otherwise a good unit. got the scrubber attachment from aliexpress or somehwere for half the normal cost. works decently. if your wife/kiddos have long hair, the brush requires frequent (basically everyuse) clearing. IMO robo vacs just need too much attention, maintenance $ items to justify. After a year or so i went back to manual vac and mop/bucket. that said, $90 is pretty good if you want to see if a robovac will work for your situation.

Mine has been nothing but problems. Specifically with the auto empty function, not detecting a bag error message. Tried multiple things to fix and finally gave up

I can relate. My wife shed like no tomorrow so having a good robot vac is a life saver. Is it easy to clean the brush motor with tangled long hair? how is the battery life? It will need to perform well when my mother in law visits too.
