If you need hotspot you need to pay 10$/month for each line.

It's like Verizon wants its current customers to switch to another competitor.

T-Mobile is superior. Verizon just wants to get people stuck in a contract before they realize the service is not what it used to be. Also, no. You will not be able to do anything with the phones until they are paid off with bill credits in 36 months.

Say no to 3 year salve. Also lots of tax and fee each month. Enjoy.
We used to pay the same amount over at TMobile just for service alone and they would always make you trade in your old devices. The previous VZ deal was $300 GC which can be applied to your bill.

The BIGGEST CON of VZ is the poor service like most people mentioned.

I am verizon customer and looking to switch. I hear T Mobile is now using starlink. Does anyone have insight or experience with T Mobile over starlink? Has that been implemented yet??

For cb as new customer do we need to repeat step 1 for each line. I think they go by order and number of lines.

Tmo switch - any experience how easy is that
As far as I know and reading what's been reported it's based on per transaction and not number of lines. So for new customers wanted multiple lines it's difficult to do since you need to have your account active and access to your phone and Verizon portal.

I knew of this promotion when they posted it on their main website a couple of weeks ago have already added 4 lines and already have the CB recognized and pending.

Regarding TMO's keep and switch it was pretty easy and problem free when I did it last year.

Fees/tax will eat you. These phones in one month will worth only 50%. 3 year is too long. Signal is bad.
The right now an unlocked iphone 16 pro is $750 on back market, lists at $999. Price will drop on new iphone day, but that means your free phone will be worth $500. Iphone 15 pro is $480 as an apple trade-in right and the 16 pro shows $480 on t-mobile. So the free phone will be worth 400 or so in two weeks.

100 percent not true. Verizon phones unlock after 60 days. The best thing to do and I've done this a few times. The new Verizon phone will come already programmed with your new number. You can right away swap phones to your old phone and keep your brand new phone in the box for 60 days and then sell as brand new.

You probably have to front the sales tax on the phone and realistically, what are taxes and fees? I know the bill isn't going to be $120.

TMobile is crap here in the SF bay area where I live, and Verizon is the only company currently to auto unlock after 60 days. So they could sell it and use their old pixel if they want to. It's the buyer who takes the risk that cheapodeal may cancel early or do something else to blacklist the phone. Last I checked, both company's have 30 day return policies and free trials to really see if it'll work for them before "getting stuck in a contract"
Silence heathen! I'm in SJ and it's not bad - and it's not bad because the service is bad its because of congestion. Too many damn people in the bay now - how I wish we went back to the population of the 90's. Too many damn people have moved in.

Verizon's basic plan coverage is horrible, we live in the city, but still don't have good signal. The call drops a lot.
Tmobile Essential is also horrible calls don't connect and call drops. so not much different but enough to frustrate me. I had verizon Welcome before this that was also same. can't win here.
Only difference I see is 2 yr tmo vs 3 yr verizon lockin
