If you need hotspot you need to pay 10$/month for each line.

It's like Verizon wants its current customers to switch to another competitor.

T-Mobile is superior. Verizon just wants to get people stuck in a contract before they realize the service is not what it used to be. Also, no. You will not be able to do anything with the phones until they are paid off with bill credits in 36 months.

I am planning to switch from Tmobile to Verizon (Tmobile bill is quite higher than Verizon Plan).
Can I keep using Tmobile pixel phone and sell the free Iphone that I get with this deal?
I am currently on TMO (essentials plan) but am considering switching. I was thinking to do the Pixel 10 trade deal and then switch to verizon using this promo plus the promo where they payoff your EIPs (which VZW told me I could double dip).

I realize the con's for switching but my plan moving forward is to keep doing these switch type promotions where the carrier pays off your EIP to get new phones and such (probably stay on just long enough to get the phones unlocked then wait for decent switch and trade-in promos to come along).

Also, seems like doing this through costco would be ideal, no?

Anyone see any downside/blindspots to this approach (including the plan to obtain the pixel from above)? Appreciate the thoughts.

Stay away from Verizon. They don't care about you once you're signed up. Loyal customer for 10 years
Also a long time customer here. I was so close to switching but a couple months back they offered bill credits for like 12 months or maybe longer to where I'm paying $40/mo for 4 lines with unlimited data. There were a ton of credits where that first month I didn't pay anything since it put my bill -$26, then the next bill was $14 because of that credit and now its at its new rate of $40. I'll consider switching again after it jumps back up to its normal amount unless they keep this train rolling

I just moved from TMobile to Visible, Verizon's discount carrier. $19/month with code 6OFF12. Works great and I'm saving a bunch of money.

The only reason I'm still with Verizon is that my workplace reimburses me for my cellular bill and I'm grandfathered into one of their old plans with Disney+ without ads and a few other benefits. But if my reimbursement policy changes or if verizon takes away my perks (which they have been chipping away at), I'm going to ditch them for T-Mobile.

Verizon plans are usually for all customers. As for people saying T-Mobile is better. T-Mobile is the most crooked carrier out period. They will lie to you and overcharge you and good luck getting off their service without a crazy markup. As for service, I like in the DMV Washington DC Virginia Maryland area and I switched from T-Mobile to consumer cellular and consumer has better service, calls work where they didn't with T-Mobile. I'm now on total wireless which is a subsidiary of Verizon and service is equal to consumer but they block or more spam calls.
Now could T-Mobile have better service in tire area? Maybe but not in the DMV. And I've found that T-Mobile is buddy with the Trump administration and since Trump got into office, T-Mobile been making claims they are now the best. They can lie legally now thanks to their partnerships. Google it if you care but otherwise, stay away from T-Mobile is my passionate plea to any who reads

The Verizon service is very bad here in Northern Virginia. For this area my previous carrier (T-Mobile) was better.

Stay Away from Verizon's contract Trap, The Executive Managers office is a joke, they can only handle $10 the most for their inconvenience mistake, Glad Paid off the penalty for my phone and move out of their contract, Customer services is the worst company to all loyal customers. Search their customer Services before switch to VZ. My big mistake before without searching

We have 3 lines already and we just added a 4th for free and got a free 16 Plus (just had to pay $100 for 256GB, which is insane).

US cell service is robbery compared to other countries. We paid half this in Taiwan and got hot spot, and we could add coverage when traveling overseas for like $5/week. Verizon wants $10/day for that crap.

Wife's work locks us into Verizon unfortunately.
