If you need hotspot you need to pay 10$/month for each line.

It's like Verizon wants its current customers to switch to another competitor.

T-Mobile is superior. Verizon just wants to get people stuck in a contract before they realize the service is not what it used to be. Also, no. You will not be able to do anything with the phones until they are paid off with bill credits in 36 months.

Verizon plans are usually for all customers. As for people saying T-Mobile is better. T-Mobile is the most crooked carrier out period. They will lie to you and overcharge you and good luck getting off their service without a crazy markup. As for service, I like in the DMV Washington DC Virginia Maryland area and I switched from T-Mobile to consumer cellular and consumer has better service, calls work where they didn't with T-Mobile. I'm now on total wireless which is a subsidiary of Verizon and service is equal to consumer but they block or more spam calls.
Now could T-Mobile have better service in tire area? Maybe but not in the DMV. And I've found that T-Mobile is buddy with the Trump administration and since Trump got into office, T-Mobile been making claims they are now the best. They can lie legally now thanks to their partnerships. Google it if you care but otherwise, stay away from T-Mobile is my passionate plea to any who reads
Counterpoint (I'm apolitical, but think our current leader/administration is a punch line, since you brought that up)... I left Sprint to join T Mobile in 2012, service (in both the West and Midwest) has been near-perfect, and anytime I've had a question about a bill = I literally get American 611 call-center help from 7 miles away from me that has fixed everything in a few minutes. All this (from what I've been told) at half Verizon's price. I heard that Verizon's coverage of some of the farm towns 30 miles out might better (or exist), but as I don't go out there ever = guess that point's moot. I can't speak to Wash DC/Virginia past me vacationing out there a few years ago... but zero issues going up/down the 95 from NYC to Mt. Vernon with calls/text/5C data.
I haven't experienced any of the "lying" & "crooked"ness you speak of. Also, if one wants it bad enough = finding pages after pages of Verizon woes AND commendatory T Mobile stuff (and vice versa, of course) is highly easy using Google. I don't pay much attention to the pricing of the plans anymore (as I'm certain T Mobile would love for me to give up my old grandfathered plan), but cost/service from the magenta has been one of the brighter fiscal spots for our family.

How can this not be a Crazy great deal? Price of an Iphone is $999. So 4 phones are $4k. 36months *$120 = $4,320. So basically paying $320 for 4 iphones with service for 36 months. Did I do the math right and is this a logical assumption?
Closer to 6k if you add taxes and fees. It's too long of a commitment. At 2 years it would be a deal.

The Unlimited welcome plan isn't good enough for data speed , network coverage although Verizon might be best in market.
5G is only name sake and every other service will cost extra $ .

Verizon's basic plan coverage is horrible, we live in the city, but still don't have good signal. The call drops a lot.
Even the expensive plan also garbage. Same dead spots

I hate how they still don't have an advertised all in price. Those taxes and fees add up really quick.

I am planning to switch from Tmobile to Verizon (Tmobile bill is quite higher than Verizon Plan). Can I keep using Tmobile pixel phone and sell the free Iphone that I get with this deal?
Try Mint Mobile. It's much cheaper and uses the T Mobile network.

Yes, all service companies don't really care much about their existing base clients, all they want it Money. They are betting that it's to much of an hassle for you to leave them.

I'm not sure if it's changed, but when I switched to Verizon from T-Mobile in 2022, I waited about 2—maybe 3—months before I was able to unlock and sell all of them.

We used to pay the same amount over at TMobile just for service alone and they would always make you trade in your old devices. The previous VZ deal was $300 GC which can be applied to your bill.

The BIGGEST CON of VZ is the poor service like most people mentioned.
There was a time when Verizon was seen as having the best service at the expense of being the most expensive.
