Pixel Fold is mostly on par with the Fold 4, maybe the Fold 5, but definitely behind the Fold 6. You kinda made a wrong move switching from the Z Fold 6—you should've gone for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold instead.
The differences between the Fold4 and Fold6 are very negligible. I upgraded because I was able to trade my Fold4 in for a hefty Fold6 discount. I was concerned about the aging inner screen and no warranty left. Only costed me $450 to upgrade, but nothing much really improved from the 4, especially the camera being pretty much the same. I would take the Fold4 over this Pixel Fold any day. Samsung is far ahead of Google on foldable, especially the software, namely the split horizontal screen option and pop-out screens which I use A LOT. The new Pixel Fold from Woot was $600 vs. $1000 for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and I was going to use the Pixel mainly for when I travel (better camera mainly) and not to replace my Fold6. I really really wanted to like the Pixel Fold, but so many short-comings. After trying the Pixel Fold out, I'm definitely going to upgrade my Fold6 when the Fold8 comes out instead of switching to Pixel Fold...and I'm a huge fan of the Pixel line.

I absolutely prefer the form factor of the original Pixel Fold. I wish they would have stuck with it. YouTube videos are perfect when open compared to the boxy Z Fold line (which I also enjoy for other reasons) unless I am watching 80s and 90s NBA highlights then the Z Folds boxy design is perfect.
I love watching with horizontal split screens, which is not possible with the Pixel Fold. Sports on top, browsing on the bottom. The aspect ratio of the Fold6 makes it perfect for this. I also like that it's narrower when folded to put in my pocket. I use mine in opened mode 95% of the time.

Don't buy this Fold from this greedy, piece of shit seller. They jacked up the price [ebay.com] around the time this the coupon went live. You're only getting a $26 discount instead of the full $93.

I bought from same seller few months back. it was like brand news open in original box. Battery cycle shows it was charged 2 times. Overall happy with purchase. Using daily without any issue.

One of best foldable Ive used. Love the form factor. Hated poor performance, slow charge, and getting hot.
Thinking about switching back to pixel fold from Oneplus Open.

Buying a Pixel is like buying a Ford. Clunky and unreliable
1972 Ford pickup and Pixel 2 XL still going strong here, but okay, gloomer.
Pixel XL 1st Gen still clunking along allowing unlimited photo video storage as far as I know😁

The difference is big. Before I can't even use outside because the brightness is very low, but the six is great using outdoors.

Not a good product. I returned mine 3 times under warranty repair because of bubbles under crease. Each time warranty was a hassle. Then I sold it.

This seller has two listings for "fully unlocked" Pixel Folds. The subject listing, for $549 - $110 coupon = $439 + tax, and another for $499 + tax:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/135431992429

The latter was only $468 + tax two days ago when I ordered one. At that time the subject listing was $499 + tax, no coupons. Otherwise the only difference between the listings is a minor detail in the descriptions. The subject listing calls it a "Google Pixel Fold T-Mobile/Unlocked All Colors 256GB" whereas the one I ordered doesn't mention T-Mobile.

I wasn't sure if it might come with bloatware, but apparently (as I just read) T-Mobile units do allow bootloader unlocking.

So I'm a bit annoyed I missed this coupon and could have gotten the same phone (albeit 2 days later) for $29 less.
I guess I'll find out soon enough if it's a keeper, though. Will be my first foldable. And the reviews seem very divided. Do not recommend watching jerryrigeverything's torture test.. pretty brutal. Replacing a OnePlus 7T running LineageOS on its second life that refuses to die.
