Not very bright to risk water damaging your phone for this purpose, spend the $10 and buy a cheap little speaker. If the phones were really "waterproof" the manufacturers would replace them for water damage. Needless to say, they don't.

Had mine around a couple of months, very good battery life, passable sound, relatively waterproof, at $10 a speaker made it a solid buy for me.

Height 5", Width 3.25", Depth 1.75". You get one case for both, not 2 cases. But you do get two manuals, which is kind of an odd choice.

meh these days most decent phones are water proof enough to bring into the shower. I stuck a Magnet mount on the shower door and just mount my phone there if i want to listen/watch something while i showered

Phones are only rated IPX8 when they leave the factory. There is no guarantee that they maintain that ingress protection after and any water damage is always going to void the warranty. It's pretty much never worth it to risk it.
