Really wish the mfg would wake up and bring their 3/8 impact sizes up to task. Milwaukee and others are building compact 3/8 impacts that will readily produce 550ft/lb plus but it is very rare to find a 3/8 socket over 1".
Most sets dont go even go this big., usually 3/4 to 19mm.

It has to do with the manufacturing process and drive size to overall socket size and the stresses applied thru it. The durability drops significantly. But I agree, hopefully they find a better, stronger metal combo where you can get a full run

I wish they had a set that was just the largest 4 sockets in the set for metric and SAE. I already have the 3/8 sets and it goes up to 19mm and 3/4.

Thanks yeah it's that 9 piece set I just picked up. Looks like I missed getting 5 more pieces for $10 more. I'm glad it wasn't that huge of a deal, but still woulda been nice.
