AC/DC current clamp. This might be the most important feature to quickly check a circuit without screwing things apart. DC is great for computers and solar etc.
Proximity high voltage warning. Just holt the nose of the meter near an outlet or circuit, and get a warning if it is powered up.
Good Resolution. The fluke is only 4000
True RMS. the Fluke 17B+ is a capable and reliable meter for many basic electrical tasks, it is not suitable for accurately diagnosing or troubleshooting circuits with non-linear loads. For that type of work, you would need a True RMS multimeter
You can get all this in a decent meter for about $30. For example https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075Z1GH5L. And many others.
soft-starts reported to help extend life of AC unit also.

if you are using this for work you aren't getting a 17b.
The good thing about this MM is it measures amps if you know how to measure amps correctly without blowing the amp fuse. Also has the ability to read temperature but will need an additional lead to use that function.
edit, nevermind I see the temp lead in the picture, this is a good deal. They charge $169 for this on Flukes site.
Very well built - and I'm going to buy another one.

What really matters in the field is true RMS, an AC/DC clamp, and the ability to perform insulation resistance (megger) tests. Homeowners, on the other hand, can usually get by with a $5 meter for most of their needs.
That said, I started out using a basic Fluke clamp meter and multimeter. Even today, I can diagnose about 90% of problems with a simple meter, it just takes a little more time.
For the past 10 years, I've been using a Fluke 1587 and it's never let me down. Of course, it also costs about ten times as much as the budget meters on the market.
