LG frech door fridges are among the worst for reliability
It seems all the brands suck these days, but i've had great luck with LG appliances including my French door refrigerator
Same here, eveything LG... Washer, Dryer, TV's - never had a single one fail on me - ever. I only replaced for newer LG's.
Don't forget two rebates through your utility company and the free 2nd year warranty for registering the refrigerator. Also, 69.99$ for an additional three year extended warranty is a good one to have taking the total warranty to 5 years.
When I bought another LG refrigerator couple of weeks back, they had an option to add one year water and air filter subscription for 6.99$, with deliveries every six months (basically two deliveries for 6.99$)

Is the utility rebate through LG directly?

Got this on a blow out for under $1000 about 2 years ago. Didn't want an LG and also wasn't looking for the nonsense but it was so cheap figured what the heck.
It's been completely fine so far, ice maker does ice up which is a known issue but if I thaw it monthly it's not a big deals.
For what I paid I'd say go for it. At this price point I'd probably pass infavor of some other stainless steel option.
Bought an LG French door fridge with ice/water in the door as a floor model from Home Depot in late 2009. Never had an issue. Still running strong. One of these decades, when it konks out, I'd buy another just like it.
