Needed a server case and this is big enough for future expansion and comes with 4 PWM fans - at about the same cost as smaller cases. Soooo hopefully it doesnt suck too much but at this price I am treating it like a budget build case

Get you one of these for a server DARKROCK Classico Storage Master https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQZS7...tle_4&th=1 it isn't too much more and it holds a lot of drives! I read some bad reviews about it but it seems sturdy enough to me that I bought a couple of them. I started putting general PC builds in these cases. For my arcade, pinball, whatever so a couple years down the road when I upgrade those pc's I can just leave the old PC's in these cases for servers. About this item

I have this. Only paid $60 for it but it's worth $70. It's not some cheaply made case. It's pretty but the trade off is air flow isn't the best. Basically all the fans exhaust and air is suppose to come in the bottom. The bottom is an inch off the ground so carpet and dust can suffocate it. I set mine up off the ground on an extra 1.5 inch and that really helps. It comes with a multiplexer for running many fans/argb off one header. The fans are 16 segment and decent quality.

edit: I actually have a slightly different model (N8) that has a glass top. This one with it's mesh top should have much better airflow.

I bought this the last time it was on here

I love love love it
The only thing I don't like is the fans are cool (haha) and they don't have them on the website

I haven't cared about airflow in many years. Fans at this point is purely cosmetic and I like to use them that way. And I leave the side panel open.

That's definitely not the case. I re-used a fairly expensive case for 20 years, it only had 5x 80mm fans (2 intake, 3 exhaust). My last upgrade left my CPU (ryzen 7 5800x3d) going over 90C at load, and GPU mem (rx 9070) over 100C. Moved everything over to a cheap modern case, with 2x 140mm intake, 3x 120mm exhaust. CPU is now 75C load, and GPU mem 90C.

I don't want any LEDs on my fans. I like the computer dark when it's on.
