Much for a measly $7 that does what it intends to do

Not worth buying
why's that?
Durability seems to be the issue here, and considering the price, it checks out.
Slickdeals has no problem promoting these cheap items that break and need multiple re-purchasing, because then they get more commissions. So you think it's a great deal because of the low price, but in fact it is not.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it anymore.

Verified Purchase
I have bought several of these since they came out on the market. They are not high quality, they are cheap in quality and price. I buy one every couple of years to replace one that simply gave up or came apart.
This will be my last one. The previous one came with a lithium AAA battery. This one says battery is required. As the last one was being replaced due to the head coming apart, I still have the battery from it.
The first one I got had a brush and mini comb. They stopped the brush by the first year, the comb by the second. A cheap, tiny plastic comb was too much.
Once you become so cheap you no longer include a AAA battery, you have jumped the shark from cheap to worthless.
They will break. The nose hair trimmer rarely works. The detail trimmer works a bit until it jams, then may or may not come apart when getting it unjammed. It will eventually, after a few dozen uses, just start coming apart.
This one already has a problem out of the box. Putting the detail trimmer head on the handle, the cap now holds more firmly to the body tube than the handle cover does, so every time I pull the cap to open the trimmer, the handle cover comes off instead. This problem already and I just opened it 20 minutes ago.
It started out good, but it has become completely not worth the price.

Over a matter of $7. Come on mate. Don't be unfair to yourself
I only have one complaint: the cone-shaped nose hair trimmer head seems to throw the clipped nose hairs right back into the sinuses, causing sneezing and irritation. I use the comb-like head instead, which doesn't work as well in terms of cutting nose hairs but at least doesn't eject the clipped hairs into the sinuses.
