Have bought various Wally/Avia shoes, both men's and women's. They are all stylish and good looking. Yet there are always issues with men's - either quality or uncomfortable for long walk. They are okay for casual walk. Somehow women's are better, few complains from my daughter and my wife.

Since I paid less than $15 each, I'd say they are not bad value. But probably I will just pay a bit more for those Adidas/Sketchers on sale. Have not had one bad name brand shoes...

I'd instead buy the $20-30 pair of Adidas shoes from their eBay outlet or ShopSimon before I would buy these ankle destroyers

Size is fine and not snug. Good length and width. The pad is thin so I bought a $1 pad at Walmart. In order to use my orthopedic inserts, I would need to remove the built in pad.

One pair is enough for anyone.

yes. I remember getting some avia cantilever running shoes in the 90s and they were a great shoe.

Walmart shoes are pure garbage. I bought a pair like these and they are only good for cutting grass. It's a crime they call these athletic shoes. I would never play any kind of sport in these.
