Looking over the Costco reviews, it appears they sold this model, but reviews only gave 3.9 stars. A lot of them have issues with the power button and the charging. I am leery of laptops with AMD CPUs. They often get hot and overheat. There were a couple mentions of that. Some said, it feels like cheap plastic and not sturdy. I'd probably pass on this one. I love Dell generally but this one doesn't look like it's up to their normal standards.

It was a FP deal earlier this month. A family member bought one from Costco despite my advice to get something better. I didn't feel like it was a great deal. And that was for a new laptop, with a great return policy and an extra year of warranty. $400 for a refurb is not a deal at all.

At $300, it may be a deal (assuming it is in brand new condition as in overstock being sold as refurbished). But if it was used and returned, possibly with degraded battery, then I'd pass on it even at $300.
