Say no and walk away from the temptation. Slickdeals turned me into a broke guy.

Did they ever fix the GPU glitches with the screen? Had one, was awesome, then the screen started constantly glitching like a low budget sci-fi movie and it got returned...

Okay... upvoting again because this is just that good but I have to say no and instead just drool at this. BF is just around the corner, this is still too early for price protection but my eyes will be pinned to this series.

I'm typing on my work Lenovo and the brand is 1000% amazing. Thanks again Dr.W

Did you have good aftercare support afterwards or did you just return rather than risk it? Generally speaking at my company they do a great job on repairs and support though we are business customers. That said my father's thinkpad outlasted everything, believed it was like almost 15 years old. Hejust got sick of it because the battery lasted 30 minutes at the end.

Your paying for the build quality (stiffer chassis), better keyboard, thunderbolt port, OLED screen, higher resolution (than 1920x1080). This is a good deal - comparable to last generations Pro7 but with oled and comparable performance. Since the cooling is designed for the 5090, you will max out the 70ti with the cooling. Good workstation class computer and second tier gaming laptop.
