Had nothing but bad experiences with Seagate. Drives that die in 2 years on average.

I figured out after the fact that that deal will only apply to one drive for some reason. Two or more removed the $50 price reduction.

Figured it out. To get the to $270 price, you have to buy individually.

Not bad for WD but I'm gonna wait for Black Friday deals. These should be $100 less across the board by now.

So, looks like $350 each for the 22Tb ones. No additional discount if you get 2 or more.

Which seagate model? Was it a shucked barracuda or exos? Which capacity? I'm curious. Thanks.

Absolutely echo that!

Have been buying drives for 30 years and no other manufacturer comes close to having so many drives fail like seagate. Western digital is my go to

Literally just finished migrating all my data from a 3TB WD Blue to 18TB WD Red Pro I bought for $320 off B&H a little over a week ago. Goddammit. This is a great deal.

I researched all sorts of drives after being tempted by a 22TB Toshiba N300 Pro. Went around digging into Seagate, then back to WD and ended up with the Red Pro. Toshiba support didn't seem super compelling, and WD has treated me well.

I love Western Digital Enterprise drives and have them in my NAS and DAS'S.

But ... But ... But ...

You guys do understand that hard drives can be used in different ways and for different purposes, ... you understand that RIGHT? Smilie

I have Seagate drives too, but I use the Seagate 26TB CMR (250 dollars) drives with HAMR! But I don't put them in my NAS/DAS ... I put them in my closet after I fill them with stuff. It is currently my 3rd backup solution. You guys do follow the 3-2-1 rule right.

Do what you want and feel what you feel about seagate, there are different grades of hard drives, ... and for me, I am FLEXABLE in many areas of my life. Being RIGID ... which I used to be ... had to go for me.

Dang. They must refresh their prices at 9PM PST. I saw the discount, had it in my cart, was about to check out and it disappeared at 9:01PM. Came back and the more you buy discount was also gone from the page. Oh well.
